Role management is available to system administrators, the workspace administrator, and workspace privileged users.
Tip Once you have opened a role property page, you can create, edit, and delete roles without returning to the roles list page. Simply select an existing role from the list on the property page, if necessary, and click the appropriate button.
To create a new role:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Role code |
Type a unique code to identify the role. |
Role name |
Type a name for the role as you want it to appear to users. |
Set to documents and folders |
Select ON to enable the role to be applied to folders and documents. |
Permissions |
For each of the available permission groups, select the permissions to grant to users and groups that are assigned the role. |
